she was soo okay in the movie even if i would have got the role i could have done it in a more efficient and poweful manner !

but anyways the awards are nowadays like lottery tickets kissi ko bhi mil jaata hain !

Yes.In my opinion,she SHOULD be nominated.It was not the BEST performance ever,but it was good.The scenes where she confronted Ranbir were really good,and the last scene,where she silently forgives him,and they cry and laugh together,they were quite well done.Its not about winning,its about getting nominated.The award will go to either Kajol or Kareena or Ash,but Katrina deserves a nomination.

Yes,Raajneeti was Ranbir.He carried the film throughout.It WAS about the journey of Samar Pratap,but Indu was an integral part too.

Indu was supposed to be really innocent an blissfully oblivious to the conspiracy Samar was planning,and Kat does have that innocent appearance.She was good.There also had to be strong sense of unspoken chemistry between Samar and Indu,and who better than Kat to exude chemistry with Ranbir?

And about the speech scene,which peole are saying was a bit faulty...well,it was MEANT to be faulty!Because Indu was not a born or trained politician!She was a character who had to take the plunge into politics after Prithvi(her husband)'s death.

I agree it was not the BEST performance of the year.But it was certainly a good job done and a noteworthy performance.

She deserves a nomination.

Can we pretty please not use words such as "haters"....from experience it will only become uglier. Different opinions welcomed, but with that respect others' opinions too.

When Kareena was not mentioned in Lensa's topic, bolly007 you should not have assumed it. Then the second instigating remark in capitals, which is considered shouting on I-F and it is not allowed.

Lets try to state reasons as to why or why not Katrina Kaif should be nominated without bringing in any other actresses' acting ability. Or maybe do it within a better context.

I don't know whether Kat should be nominated or not...If I was a professional in the film industry I'd say no, cause the script did prevent her from any real substance sadly....she's always stuck to the sweet & innocent type of heroine - so it's hard too see real improvement in the characters she plays. Maybe she fears of getting out of her comfort zone. Even though Indu is a serious role --- she sounds the same cute, nice, shy self in others movies.

Maybe she deserves a nomination to have tried to put distance with her previous comedies, but not for her amazing interpretation of the role. It's a pity they did'nt give her more scope - they had a good material with Rajneeti - I guess Ranbir & Arjun will benefit from it....at thee awards.

Kat should show variety in her film choices so that she could be taken seriously as an actress but obvioulsy for now it's not her main goal ^^

whether she's nominated or not she'll be a hit machine till people get tired of watching her shaking her body the same - smiling the same - having the same facial expressions over & over 'even if sometimes she does get them right'....must say she's not a great actress but she def grabs the light from any of her co star...she appeals & catches attention that's her gift....with her sweet ofiicial off screen personality...

actually i think she can act but she under acts...that's why she doesn't leave much impact --- too hypnotized by her beauty to notice ^^ and certainly because of the weakness of the characters which are given to her.

i say give manoj bajpai the best actor in a negative role both nomination and award, truly deserving

nana, he simply stood out as a flawless performer in raajneeti

arjun and rk did their part really well

kat's role was the weakest in the film and that the truth

even shruti seth and sarah were better than kat

Kat will not win the award.But she shud get a nomination.Yeah,Sarah was really good,but Shruti...i mean all she did was film a couple of physical scenes with Arjun,lol!

And yeah...i really liked Sarah too u know...was so sad when she died!!!Her baby!!

BTW off topic, was AA hit or not?? i somewhere heard it was hit and somewhere that it was just average?? AA was hit or not, sakku??
