RK has mostly disappointed when it comes to BO lol. Rocket Singh (flop), WUS and BAH (above average). So I don't see how the poor guy is lucky in terms of BO.

The opening is due to the promos and people liking RK and PC's chemistry! Glad their chem is being liked!

Ranbir Kapoor is a superstar and clearly the biggest draw of AA. In younsters he is the best we have in terms of acting and star power and also box office. So early in his career he has managed to put numbers on box office which biggest superstars have taken decades to get. Katrina has worked with other people also, not everyone she has worked with has turned into a superstar. If AA has a good script then it would survive, it does not matter if there is Pri or Katrina by ranbir's side.

I'm not taking anything away from RK's star status...there is no denying his fan following. But I can't think of one movie that was a clean huge hit that RK had without Kat. And Kat's movies with Akki become huge too. Meh. Each to his own. But RK has had more flops/averages than hits. And in romcoms, it's mostly the lead pair and their chemistry that brings in the audience.

But ofcourse, if the story is weak, not even Ranbir can save the movie.

So what if his movies with Katrina have worked?? Is their an unwriten rule somwhere which makes his success any less just coz his movies with Katrina turned into blockbusters. Its useless and barberic to believe in any some sort of kismet connection.. they both were great in those movies and they worked.. and he was phenomenal in both those movies. Even BAH, WUS have seen good success and his performances have been appreciated in those movies. And please, how does anyone even get started on asking about his success ratio.. with two big blockbuster this early in his career and other decent movies.. in an industry where actors produce duds after duds.. his only duds are Saawariya and Rocket.. and his rocket has a mass fan following and is adored by critics..I seriously don't know how people just credit anyone's success to silly jodi making.

Ranbir is an awesome actor and we all know that.Even Ranbir-haters here will have to agree about his acting skills.All his films are a delight to watch,Kat or not.

I never said it was the RK Kat jodi. I said it was Kat...she's a hit master. And like I said, each his own. If people are hell bent on wanting to believe PC has nothign at all to do with AA's opening, than feel free to do so. And I'll believe what I want to.😊
