Baazigar was the movie that started it all for me.. it was this dialogue that I will never ever be able to forget that just swept me off my feet!! His eyes, charisma , confidence, andaaz a very unique x factor, his slightly trembling voice.. there was just something unusual about him...

Haar ke jeetne waale ko baazigar khete hai!! Simply superb...

And thanks to this movie we got one of the most unusual and the most unconvetional couple.. with a magical chemistry on celluloid!!

From Srk's unique cape to his mask to him coming liking a prince charming on a white horse.. to Kajol dressed in a white wedding gown.. what beautiful imagery... Gosh!! and dreamy music and nice lyrics.. Loved the song!! The clothes that Gauri designed for Srk look funny now.. but they looked great back in the day!!

Then my fav song of the album... Yeh kaali kaali aankhen... what a chartbuster.. Spunky lyrics.. cool clothes and even cooler choreography.. I was obssessed with this song.. loved Kajol's pink outfit.. and Srk's interesting looking pants..lol.. And I always used to get scared for Ajay (Srk's character) when the real Vicky malhotra shows up in the club.. and starts sayin that his name is Vicky and stuff...

This is one of the most soulful songs I have ever heard.. there is something in the tune of this song.. which is just too melodious.. and Srk is very sensual and charming here...

The movie and the plot was just awesome.. very engaging!! Loved Srk's raw potrayal of a revenge seeking killer, the rawness the passion the angst.. one of his best performances ever.. This role was totally written for him.. and how he got this role after it being rejected by almost half of the industry.. and then him just acing in it ... and wowing everyone.. was just too good!! This would be my most memorable performance from SRK!! And it was offically the begginning of me becoming his fan.

Wow!!! i luv this topic...can speak for ages on SRK!!! i luv him...i fell in luv with him about 18 years back, still am in luv with him...n i don't think this feeling will ever change😳😳😳😳😳😳

Well i was in school, when my friends used to gossip about this show called Fauji on TV...n they wud keep blushing over Abhi...n tat got me curious...i remember watching tat show...n i was in dreamland...trust me i have never returned from tat place still😆😆😆...been his crazy n loyal fan since his TV days....

What did you think of his debut movie?

The 1st movie of SRK i saw was Deewana...he was the supporting actor, but he overpowered Rishi Kapoor n i luved his chemestry with Divya Bharti...still remember the song,'koi na koi chahiye pyaar karnewalla"...then i saw Raju ban gaya gentleman n then the journey started...his were the only films i used to insist o seeing in the theatres...Baazigar,Darr,chamatkar,Kabhi haa kabhi na,Karan Arjun, DTPH,KKHH,K3G,KHNH, Duplicate, RNBJ,CDI,MNIK,OSO, MHN etc...the list is never ending...though my all time favourite is DDLJ...still drooling in Raj-Simran mania....

trust me, i even liked his films which flopped, 😆..

How has he grown as an actor?

Without a doubt, YES!!!! i know his critics say tat he is repetitive, but i don't think so...each role of his is like a breath of fresh air for me...

If you like him, when did you first start liking him?

His TV show Fauji got me hooked to him..films of his are like a bonanza for me....

Any favorite movie of his?

DDLJ without a doubt....luved his pairing with Kajol, after Kajol it has to be Juhi, Rani,Madhuri, Preity and Divya Bharti...

i also feel that CHak De India, Swades n Kabhi haa kabhi naa, bought out the true actor in him!!!

Anything else you'd like to share?

Yes, i know many people feel tat he is stubborn, snobbish n God knows wat...but i luv him n nothing else matters to me...long time back he said,'i will dance for money, i will do stage shows for money, i will do ads for money, but i won't do 'b' or 'c' grade movie for money...i value my fans money n time...."....n i can proudly say tat till date SRK has kept his promise...his luv for his fans is heartwarming...he values his family...n acknowledges their importance...for me he is a true gem of a person...Luv him....

I will write detail post later but one thing I will say is Srk is one of the actor that made me fall in love with bollywood! He is truely the king of bollywood! Huge fan of his since Baazigar! He will always be my #1 actor!!! Love him so much and want to meet him some day!!

Where do I start where do I end? I LOVE him, always have and always will! And definitely--while I'm still alive, SRK mania will never end!

Hmm..so I saw Deewana which was his debut movie..but don't remember it at all because I was so small when it came out🤣 Just remember the song--Mera naam rakhdiya mera naam rakhdiya!

I used to be TERRIFIED of him because of Baazigar! But my shona came in movies like DDLJ, KKHH,DTPH and made me his HUGE fan!! I finally got the courage to watch Baazigar again when I was a little bit older and I cried when he died even though he was a bad guy!

As an actor, I think Shah has improved quite a bit! I absolutely adore him with Kajol!!

Anyways I will come back and add more to this..I can write big huge essays on Shah!

But I just want to say taht Shah may not be the best actor BW has ever seen, nor the most handsome, but the charm and wit he posseses is unmatched! And my love for him tooo!!

like him, a good actor and more than anything else a good role model for being a good hubby and a father

but yes i hope he leave his cigarette habits, coz its harmful, he also knows that but can't leave it

well i have liked most of his films, kkhh was good, ddlj is classic

bad habits he needs to get rid of... stop smoking in public... it's annoying and sets a bad example... especially when he is sitting with other people and smokes in their faces... they can't exactly tell him to stop doing that... 😛 also, keep his ego in check... some of his comments come across as cocky... but i think that's his own lack of self esteem/confidence showing, which he pretty much says so as well... 😊 overall, i think i like him more as a person than an actor...

fact that he has reached to such heights from being a nobody without any connections whatsoever to filmi family says a lot about him... everyone keeps commenting how he is where he is because of Yashraj/Karan johar camp, etc., but which actor does not has backing..? aamir had his filmi connections and when his career was 'almost over', he came back with a bang, thanks to mansoor khan, and had an amazing debut... 😛 the only other superstar that did not use his own connections that i remember are probably salman and akshay... what i love most is that he has not forgotten his beginnings, and always remembers his past as well... keeps him grounded...!

and yes, he may be overrated as an actor, but who isn't...? everyone is, including aamir, salman, akshay, hrithik, amitabh, etc... i guess in bollywood, it's better to be overrated than underrated... to me, he deserves it... he really is a fine example of, zero to hero... and yes, his charm and wit are surely unmatched... sometimes, he can go over the limits...

i've liked him since i saw deewana... it's ironic how far he has come from that time, taking up all the rejected roles of half the industry... surely, there is hard work, but yes, he is also very lucky... i like the fact that he does not throw around his weight on the sets or interfere too much on the sets... think that is a major reason why he became a favourite with YRF... 😛

though, i am not excited about any of his upcoming projects (but then i feel that way about most of the upcoming bolly movies), i wish him luck always...!
