At the end of day, akki did wrong and was inhuman thing to distribute pictures. It's not this was akki's last movie. I love what RM replied to Big B. I agree he shouldn't had used the word but kudos to him for atleast speaking up and standing up for what he believed in.

akki went there on the family's invitation, whats wrong if to pose for an photograph he put a pen on his hand and smiling? obviously he went there bcz of movie publicity bcz movie is based on his cartoon, family invited him bcz of movie , whats wrong in that

and these ppl like RM never show their guts when some other big stars r involved in wrong situations , its RM who did all this for publicity, Thank God AB spoke for Akshay rest of the bollywood can speak for only so called biggies who most of the time do wrong, very rare ppl have guts to speak for the Truth specially in bollywood

I for one don't care if Big b had any ulterior motive behind what he did! I always used to complain that he never stands up for imp stuff and he is grossly diplomatic, but here you go.. I loved the fact that he stood up for Akki. If journos fume at any colorful language used against them, then how come they are the ones who very easily use such langauge for actors?? Journos are becoming nothing less than opportunist cowards who only attack those people who they think they can get away... can you picture them using such a word for a top khan or a big time producer or director?? Just coz Akki's movies are soft targets for critics and they like to rip them apart and in the process also rip apart the actor, they think they can also get away with ripping apart the star/the person Akki. Its all a game of power, bachchans aren't the most influential figures these days so RM had the guts to give such a relentless and rude reply to big b.. if it was back in the day when Amitji was ruling the roost then this same journo would have been running around him like a fanboy. I honestly feel the fact that RM showed no remorse in calling Akki a jackass is a dangerous trend.... While some actors.. basically the top ones get preferrential treatment, its sad to see mass entertainers like Akki being name-called by these critics for whatever reason! I wish media could be a little less transparent in their bias towards certain celebs.

Journos aren't dispensable. Just saying.
And Rajeev Masand isn't some chhutput idiot, he has a say and thank god for his job, he's able to express himself.

Stars get away with murder, so its no surprise that people are shredding Masand to pieces in order to defend Akshay for a pretty immature thing that he's done.

I dunno. If i was in a hospital and some big superstar came fanboying around me, i'd get pretty hassled.
