Rajeev Masand calls Akshay a jackass - Page 5

I don't think Akshay meant any harm, he's a good guy and was excited about meeting RK but I can see why the posting that pic would rub some the wrong way.

Not back to RM's argument...if Akki only visited the ailing man as a publicity stunt then shame on him...then even I would say it was a "jackass" move! And I disagree with the ppl who say he should use for sensitive language b/c he can use whatever language he wants...as long as he can take the heat of this words and actions!

As for Big B...good for him for standing by his collegues, but wouldn't it be nice if he did that more often! However, Big B has his own issues to deal with so it's unfair to say that he doesn't stand up all the time...b/c even he's publiciy humiliated and attacked! Journalists don't fear superstars any more! It's all an open field and they can take whatever shots they want in the name of journalism! But honestly...journalism used to be about the facts, but today it's about opinion and what sells is opinions...harsh and irrational and spicy opinions...not FACTS! So every once in awhile it's necessary for the ppl to push back at the media and have them re-draw their boundaires and limits!!!

What apalled me is Akshay distributing the pics and saying that his new movie Khatta Metha is an ode to RK's writings. For me using this as a promotional tool is way too cheap and thats why I'm pretty pissed off that Akshay did something like this.
And I also understand that RK's family too are pretty pissed of with Akshay as they didnt expect him to pblish the puics for the promotion of his new movie.

Isnt that insensitive?
