Yeah! Atleast she was honest enough to admit that she did have a blackspot in a mind somewhere, that's not gone thanks to the discussions they have.
Hey she said that she wouldnt midn having a nikaah, coz she doesnt really care, but because of her parents, she'd rahter opt for a court marriage.
Haha, she's so cute. She's like, they havent said anything to me yet, or talked about it, but she has a feeling that maybe court marriage would be the best option.

I appreciate Kareena's honesty and her answers seem to be genuine. Love is truly unconditional and cannot be dictated by anything, not even religion. Although I do not agree that religion itself can ever be extreme. This is all thanks to twisted people that try to justify their own warped ideas and then cover it up with religion.
Thank you for sharing.

After watching this interview, I sorta understand their stance on marriage and why living in together isnt such a big deal to them. (thye didnt talk about living in together, but ti was sorta implied at the end)

I mean think about it. For most of us, marriage is not only a cultural norm, but also a RELIGIOUS ceremony. The saat phere or the nikaah, right?

In saif and kareena's case, it will neither be the phere nor the nikaah. Bebo said htat a court marriage will be ideal. Because saif doesnt wanna force her to do a nikaah and she prolly wouldnt make him do the phere.
She's got some partial christian roots because of her mom, and Saif has a muslim father and Sharmila was hindu. So neither saif nor kareena is religious. HTey both are more spiritual than religious.
So for them, marriage is LITERALLY signing legal documents. LITERALLY.

And that's what they've been saying. That what's left for them is just signing a piece of paper. ANd if signing that paper MIGHT have a negative impact on kareena's career, then saif's willing to wait.
I mean, I guess in their minds, they already are married. Just need to make it "legal".
No ceremony required.

That's exactly what saif said. He said we as muslims shoudl rise up and speak out against those terrorists, and say taht those ppl are not true muslims.

Bebo said that now she knows that islam is one of the purest religion ever.

he says hes not a fan of "organized religion" and then he wants to go and call himself a muslim? IF he were a muslim, he wouldnt say that.

He never claims to be a good muslim or practicing muslim either Enycedoll. Infact he JUST stated that he doesnt automatically identify with every other muslim just because of htat.
He also said that he was born into a muslim household, so its part of his identity. He's just formed his own thoughts. He comes across as more spiritual, than religious.
I have a cousin who thinks like that.

He does say he's muslim, but its more of an identity, rather than really practicing the faith. How can he be a practicing muslim if he doesnt really follow the full faith? Doesnt pray, fast, or does hajj?

I guess i can understand coz I've seen it in family. Some of my cousins are agnostic, others just not sure what they think. ANd one has the same mentality as saif. Its a complex mindset.
Guess saif shoudl just start saying he's not muslim then. But he takes it more as an identity, or as he puts it "being loyal to where he was born".
I'd say he's agnostic. Or perhaps just spiritual. He once said that he reads up on all religions and believes some parts of the buddhist thinking.
What do you call such a guy? NOt a fan of organized religion, that's for sure.

the way he speaks/feels of religion is what i felt when i was in junior high school, but then that was my age for confusion, i followed what i was TOLD rather than what I BELIEVED/learned based on my findings, which ofcourse has been settled. hes a grown man and should really know what he believes in. he's just confused and sounds nuts to me.

Yeah he does seem confused, ur right about that. Or someoen who's still on the pursuit to figure everythign out.
On the borderline. Dont know.
But all I know is, I find someone with an open mind such as his who's willing to try adn figure out what's life, religion, the world for himself, rather than just following what he's taught, you know.

I guess that can be considered confused, but still, I like it 😆
