Sallu moves on
However, Sallu has apparently told the producer of the movie that he will personally make good his loss, which is sweet of Salman.
However, the star has moved on to his next project, and that's the movie Dabanng. The film is being directed by newbie Abhinav Kashyap and Sallu is quite happy with him.
"He really knows his job. The film is set in rural India and has a very grungy feel to it. It's very real, very basic and very hard-hitting. I haven't done anything like this before. When I read the script, I know I had to do this film. And I am happy with the director," says Salman.
Salman says that he enjoyed making Wanted, his only hit in the last couple of years. "Wanted was a good film and I was quite happy for it. Because after a long time I guess I was doing an action film. Bollywood today has vew few action films and Prabhu Deva has directed the film in a fantastic way," says Salman.
He spoke about why London Dreams, his movie with Asin and Ajay Devgn, didn't work. "London Dream was 25 minutes longer than it should have been. We had a lot of discussions on this but they insisted they wanted to keep it that long. A film should be that long only where it's entertaining. And I think that's why London Dreams didn't work," says Salman. Dabanng stars Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of yesteryear villain Shatrughan Sinha.
