I just think that a protest about giving someone an award (whatever it is) should not go to this level of burning and using sandals. Especially since this award is meant to for contribution to cinema and not for something else. In that case nobody in films deserves a Padma!

I understand the extra hue and cry because of Saif being involved in that endangered species case....but this is still too much even if I think he is undeserving!

the reason there were no effygies of amir is because what he did with a woman OR ANYONE for that matter is a PERSONAL matter, no ones saying not o give saif the award because he cheated on his wife, theyre protesting because hes had a serious brush with the law, he participated in killing an endagered specie.

why do they always burn like a poster wenever they dun agree with something? i sorry i just dont get the burning thing..once i saw wen india lost a cricket match the people start burning the players posters too lol

poor saif...i wud think its kinda rly creepy to see ur face burn..even if its jus a picture. this burning thing shud be illegal...
