hi everyone..... just saw 3 idiots on x'mas eve......1st day 1st show.........must say its the best movie of 2009 in fact it is the best work of raju hirani so far.....3 idiots goes far ahead as compared to munabhai series in terms of story,script,acting,presentation etc.........though i loved the whole movie n planning to watch it again these are the 3 main reason why i loved 3 idiots......
firstly for its sheer comic timings.....though it was not promoted as a comedy flick it had amazing comedy scenes which just made my stomach pain with laughter......the speech by chatur.... the scene of virus ko nikaal.......amir asking the professor whether he knows who he n his friends are actually are.....all of them are just fabulous.. ...give me such kinda of scenes any day rather than senseless akshay kumar comedy flicks or golmaal series.....
Secondly for its message....i am a student n i live in india.....past 15 years i have been through the educational system of our country which the movie completely regrets and challenges....i could totally identify with the students plight and angst of studying engineering as i have gone through the same......the movie has beautifully put plight of students without going over the top......hatts of to raju hirani........
thirdly for its performance.......obviously aamir was the perfect choice for playing raanchoo.....he was just awesome....so were sharman and r madhavan.......they didnot let aamir overshadow them in the movie......boman irani as virus was again very good but he went little over the top in some scenes.....and ofcourse chatur and mm were also very good........
there were some scenes which could have easily edited like kareena's sister's delivery scene......and another thing which made the film little odd was aamir kareena pairing....though both of them were good in the scenes, i couldn't feel any chemistry between them....i think kajol would have done a better job as her pairing with aamir is very good and she was first considered for the role of pia.....
but still all n all i think 3 idiots was a great movie.........take a bow mr. hirani for making such movie.......
