Not all actors have to directly state it. I follow Shahid since he's my favorite actor, so using him as an example (I am NOT dragging him in for useless reasons - he's just an example), a long time ago, I found out that Shahid had rejected Rang De Basanti. Recently, Shahid was asked about films he's rejected, and he said he was offered a film that's now regarded a cult classic and one of the biggest hits of our times, but it was his loss that he didn't get to do it. The journo asked him what film, and Shahid refused to state it. I'm sure he was talking about RDB because I haven't heard of any other blockbuster cult films that Shahid's rejected, but he chose not to state it. So, I don't find the reason to keep stating what films you've rejected in the past. I'm only discussing Shahid because I follow his interviews, and also, he clearly didn't find a reason to say, "I was offered Rang De Basanti, but I turned it down."

Theres a difference between discussing a project and actually offering it. Vishal had discussed many projects with Shahid before Omkara, but he never said he was offered any roles. Vishal even discusses his projects with Aamir, but even Aamir doesnt even talk about em.

Well Saif's not an indirect person, lol.

The way Saif flaunts all of the films he rejects is cringe - worthy to say the least. It's almost as if he's saying John/Neil/ or Shahid are getting the praises, but in reality he should get it since you know he was offered the film first.

From what I hear, apparently Saif was also offered Dilwale Dhulaniya Le Jayenge but he turned it down since his beau wasn't in it.

I am not here to defend nor am I here to defend Shahid. It seems to me that people over here are self proclaimed PR's or maybe even actors themselves, thus, there's no point simply placing a discussion.

I don't see the "consideration" in not mentioning which role. It's not like Saif used to brag on and on about what films he's rejected in the past, as far as I know. It's something he's been recently doing, which gets really annoying. Because honestly, nobody cares what film you were offered in the past, and I think most people just want him to stop saying that he was offered these films.

Desigal90, I forgot that sarcasm translated poorly through the internet, thus, I was merely presenting a hypothetical situation. Anyhow, I didn't know that he was offered DDLJ, but according to your explanation, it seems like Saif is under the impression of being offered Raj's role too.

Correct Response: Saif was talking about his career at one point and how he started off good, then went thorugh a horrible phase. Then he talked about how he had connections wiht Yash Raj because of his previous movies at hte start of his career. And he was lamenting that maybe if Srk had turned down DDLJ, they might have come to him.

Ahhh, now I didnt realize you can also read saif's mind. Thanks for enlightening me. So THAT'S how his mind works. Within a fraction of a second, his intricate mind thinks up WHICH movies were hits, which were critically acclaimed, hwo I should say it, flaunt it, and oh, you should know, I should be getting praised.

I think he has enough praisworthy performances in his list thanks, he doenst need a few more.
