Kaminey was the biggest critically-acclaimed hit of the year.. Shahid jumed to the top league on the basis of this movie. And we all know how desperate actors are to get Critics praise. My point is that we never hear Saif talk about being offered a role in a movie which bombed at the box office. The coincidences are bit too pat, to be honest.

Even someone as big as Akki was woah after just seeing the promos of Kaminey.

Actor always like to get on the good sides of critics. Good reviews lead to awards, which lead to more popularity, who doesnt want all that?

There has ALWAYS been a reason for saif to mention the movies he did. In his entire career, I think he mentioned 3 movies recently that he was offered.

Dostana he mentioned when someone said when were you offered Kurbaan, and saif said Kurbaan was actually ready in script a LONG time ago, and Johar gave him two scripts and asked him to pick one. He said he chose Kurbaan over the other script and they asked him what it was, and he said Dostana. Makes sense, both movies are dharma productions. ANd even Rensil has clarified that one with me when I asked him abotu the script selection and and story.

So that's confirmed.

He lashed out at Kaminey when there were constant comparisons being drawn and ONLY when Saif's character in Omkara was PUT DOWN did he lash out. And for that, he even apologized later on. Not many actors do that.

As for this, I think its pretty obvious why he mentioned New York. The quesiton is pretty self explanatory. Now people will say, he SHOULD have said, its not like New York and stopped there. But Saif usually has an explanation for what he says. So he explained WHY he knows that New York is differnet from Kurbaan. He hasnt seen New York, so how else is he supposed to justify? Lie and say oh I saw New York, when he clearly hasnt?

And Kaminey is critically acclaim, but when it comes to the biggest hit, that's still clearly saif's. ANd saif made that statement for Kaminey BEFORE its release mind you. So how would he have known that he was making a statement for one of hte most criticially acclaimed movies of the year? Or is Saif pyschic now?

Its useless defending saif here. Like Kyaktsar said, carry on. 😊

Just wanted to know what WTF statement saif had made that's gotten everyone so worked up all of a sudden.
