Priyanka has seven roles in Vishal Bhardwaj's next

From 12 brides-in-waiting to seven brides - it has been a short journey for Priyanka Chopra. After her dozen in What's Your Raashee?, Priyanka will now play saat dulhans to seven men in Vishal Bhardwaj's next, 7 Husbands.
A source reveals, "Vishal was very impressed with Priyanka's work in Kaminay. While scripting for 7 Husbands, he had already made up his mind to cast the actress in his next film. Vishal had seen the rushes and promos of What's Your Raashee? and was convinced he had made the right choice."

The source continues, "In 7 Husbands, Priyanka will have different get-ups for each wife. The actors who will play the husbands haven't been finalised yet. Serious actors (who may or may not be A-Listers) may be considered."

"The movie is still in the scripting process. It will go on floors next year after Priyanka's dates are available and the seven actors are finalised," adds the source.

Priyanka Chopra remained unavailable for the comment.

The story sounds interesting but I hope it does not get repetitive with Priyanka doing another film in which she plays more than one character.

I wonder what the brides will be like, but I have full confidence in Vishal's work. Wait, wasnt he making a film with Hrithik though? What happened to that one?

Vishal is one of the finest filmakers but I don't think he has done a film which was as good as Maqbool and Omkara.

Ditto your thoughts. I kind of wish she was only doing this one and not WYR, but the dialogue promo of that is alright I guess. It is nice to see them work together again, and this sounds like a quite a role to be playing. All in all, I do have full faith in Vishal to make a good film, and I am looking forward to it. I am 100% sure it will be much more appealing once there are some stills or promos to see that will differentiate it from WYR. Vishal's style is so much different than Ashutosh's so there have to be some distinct differences.

I share the same thoughts. Once the stills and promos are out, it's only then can one make a decision to watch the film or not. I have not seen Kaminey but Vishal's previous work were brilliant.

I had also heard that Vishal was making his next film with Hrithik. But maybe there has been a change of plans. I would definitely prefer watching a VB film and I think he would definitely make sure that his film is different from WYR.
