Neil Nitin Mukesh: Really good in Johnny Ghaddar, but after his last two films I am wondering whether that was a total fluke. He was not good in New York. And I would say John was better than him in it.

Arshad Warsi: I think he is really good and unfortunately since he is not a star he doesn't get a pick of the roles and has to do stuff like Golmaal Returns. I am looking forward to Ishqiya.

Rahul Bose: He chooses good films, but quite honestly he is a bad actor.

it's such a cute post...

i definitely agree with the bolded part.... it's not that he is not capable... people say that but that's such a wrong statement because time and again he has proved, that if he has a great director and a good script, he can deliver... the movie may not work, as was the case in Swades, but you can't fault him for his acting prowess.... 😊

p.s. perhaps, it would help if i change my avi and username, so it won't be considered a biased fan talking... 😉😆😆 and now, obviously, i need to take a break... LOL...

Let's start then:

Imran - over-rated. He needs to do something, anything to those eyebrows of his.

SRK - over-rated. He was good in his initial years, now not so much. He needs to do more unconventional roles and ditch the candyfloss roles for once and all.

Abhishek - Decent actor but his charming personality overshadows any merit he has as an actor to me. His performance in "Yuva" while good wasn't half as impressive as Madhvan's in the Tamil counterpart "Aayutha Ezhuthu".

Hrithik - Good actor but his physique and dance skills often overshadows his acting. No more Papa Roshan, please!!

Ranbir - Not so good-looking but his acting in BAH was fine. Not all that though.

Shahid - Somewhat under-rated. I liked his performance in JWM over Kareena's. Haven't watched Kaminey yet so can't comment. He's cute but in an effeminate way.

Aamir - Brilliant actor but of late, his taste and acting has been lacking. I mean what was up with all the grunts and growls in Ghajini? That can hardly be called acting.

I seem to have missed the two most obvious ones

Salman - Used to look great amongst all the Khans but the last time I saw him act was in Tere Naam - which I thought was a tad overhyped.

Akshay - Comedy king? No. More like toilet-humor king. Where is the acting?

After reading the comments I decided to watch Alaipayuthey, and despite the subtitles not being the best I really like it. And both the lead actors are really impressive so far. I can see why people said this one is better than Saathiya.

i have not seen the movie yet... unfortunately, i am one of those who are restricted to watching either a hindi or an english movie...
