I cant believe such a big fiasco went down for saif and shahid and Kaminey, when in truth, from Vishal's mouth. 😆

Dude, every movei that kareena refuses or was considered for and Priyanka accepts turns to GOLD!

aitraaz: Both roles were given to kareena (coz she is an abbas mustan regular) but she chose the role of the wife rather than the negative character

dostana: Original cast was abhi, saif, Kareena. Saif turned it down, and abhi wasnt comfortable with kareena, so karan went out and opted for Priyanka instead.

love story 2050: Was signed on for this for years, but walked out before shooting began because her dates were too filled.

kaminey: Vishal just mentioned it.

what's ur rashee: Shahid and Kareena were offered this one coz Ashu wanted a young couple.

Oh well, jo jiski kismat mein tha hua.

PC suited Kaminey and those roles.

And kareena got her KIs, Tashans, and GRs, wohoooo! 😆

OMFG! Desu In that post of Priyanka versus Kareena for Shahid didnt I say that Kareena would suite well in Kaminey.. And none of u guyz believed me.. Now look.. Meri paarkhi nazar pehle hee pehchaan gayi thi.. this role was taylor made for Kareena.. and If Shahid and Kareena would have done this role they would have become the next Kajol and Srk.. after the success of JWM.

I mean I cant even blame kismat in her case coz she IS offered great movies with great directors. But that idiot fills up her date diary with KIs, and Tashans, and GRs, so who is to blame???

love story 2050 wasn't gold...lol It was the biggest flop. But I do agree that any role kareena turns down, turns to Gold. Kal ho na ho was Preity's turning point in her career, a role that bebo refused. But I think preity suited that movie though.

I agree.. and the minute I saw Kaminey I felt that Sweety's character was written for Karina.. I just knew it! That mashaal scene.. and all that over the top and strong attitude of Sweety had the Jhalak of Kareena.. But u know what.. it does not matter.. Its just better to move on Kareena can do much better.. she haz many other offers.. Basically turning down roles and accepting them.. is part and parcel of bolly this happens to the best of them.. Pri was nice in the role.. Chalo.. Kari has other options to prove her acting poweress..I hope she comes back wid a bang!

But I'm sure there are plenty of bad movies she turns down as well. I just mentioned Love Story 2050 coz it goes with teh list of movies gone to PC.

I suppose ur right. The dummy just recently turned down the movie No One Killed Jessica by the director of the movie Aamir (with Rajeev Khadewala).

I was shocked, coz I LOVED the movie Aamir, and No One Killed Jessica seemed like such an intriguing project. THe director was heard making claims that he needs two very strong protagonists for the role of Jessica (who dies) and the Sabrina, (the sister who fights for her justice in court, kareena's role). And he said he was waeiitng to hear back from kareena who currrently was reading over the script. But surprise surpsie, the slot that the director wanted is filled with Karan Johar's stepmom remake, and then Agent Vinod.

I again say that Bolly might have lost a legendry pair wid this messy breakup.. but I guess personal life is more imp then climibing the ladder of success.. JWM proved to be a great boon for both Sha and Kari.. and now they can just move on.. and excel in their respective paths.
