Tip 1: Always wear a sunscreen even if you are stepping out in early evening. For the Indian climate, a Neutrogena sunscreen of SPF 55 is good, though the one of SPF 70 is perfect. Never step out without applying sunscreen
Tip 2: Always get rid of make up at night. Never sleep with make up on your face. You can clean it with face wipes, if it is light and you get cleansing milk and lotions for the same.
Tip 3: Never use soap on your face. Use a good quality face wash and the Neutrogena Deep Clean cleansing face wash is the best. Once you wash your face, you need to use a toner and finish off with a moisturizer.
Tip 4: Young girls need to stay away from unnecessary bleaches and facials. Their skin hasn't matured fully and all the chemicals could have side effects. One must use natural, home-made remedies. Applying potato and cucumber juice on the eyes is very refreshing. You can use scrubs made of multani mitti or lime juice and sugar. Channe ka atta, curds and cream can also be applied to the face. One thing you must keep in mind is that if you have put anything with citric acid (like lemon, tomato or orange) on your face, do not expose yourself to sunlight as the acid will react with it and you will get tanned.
Tip 5: You must eat fresh fruits and vegetables and drink loads of water. Keep a bottle by your side and take a few sips every 15-20 minutes. Even you drink enough water now, when you start this, it will become a habit. If you are cleansing yourself from within, then your facial skin will glow. Also, any form of exercise will improve blood circulation and make your skin glow.
