It's supermodel Ujjwala Raut. The two were spotted holding hands and bonding at the Kambakkht Ishq success party held at JW Marriott last night.
A source present at the event tells us, "Preity, Ujjwala, Pooja (Batra) and a fourth chick came in around 1 am and went inside straight away. They left a couple of hours later."
There are several reasons why Preity and Ujjwala are bonding. Preity has recently separated from Ness Wadia, her boyfriend of four years and Ujjwala is in town to finalise her divorce from Craig Maxwell, her firang husband of 5 years. The two girlfriends are nursing broken hearts and is there a better way than partying the night away?
Hotelier Vikram Chatwal is Preity and Ujjwala's mutual friend. In fact, Preity was also linked with Chatwal when the two were spotted at the Lakme Fashion Week and after-parties together.
Ujjwala is an international supermodel. Having worked with the biggest names in the fashion business like D&G, Victoria's Secret, YSL, Hugo Boss and Gucci, she has great taste in clothes. Chic and stylish Preity is a Chopard ambassador and loves brands like Chanel, Roberto Cavalli, etc. Mutual love and admiration for fashion is a good enough reason for women to become friends.Ujjwala walked the ramp at LFW while Preity cheered her on.
Preity Zinta had starred in Sajid Nadiadwala's Jaan-e-Mann, Pooja Batra secured the Hollywood stars for Kambakkht Ishq and Ujjwala has no apparent connection with Bollywood.
She is very busy with shows abroad; she has Manish Arora's show in Rome and several magazine shoots across the globe. Like every other model, she has Bollywood (and Hollywood) aspirations. She has completed acting courses in New York and Paris and is in talks with film people here and abroad. Attending the KI party with Preity was a great way for her to get noticed and make contacts on the commercial film circuit. Also, Preity Zinta, who has had a very successful film career would make a great mentor and guide for the gorgeous leggy lass.
These girls just wanna have fun!
