Coca-Cola presents Commemorative Bottles of Mumbai Festival to Chief Minister - Vilasrao Deshmukh

Mumbai, January 15, 2005: Coca-Cola India today launched special edition Mumbai Festival Commemorative Bottles to celebrate the Mumbai Festival. The colourful bottles depicting the spirit of Mumbai were presented to the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh and the Tourism Minister Ms Renuka Chaudhary on the inaugural day of the festival by Coca-Cola Brand Ambassador Ms. Aishwarya Rai at a glittering ceremony at Bandra Reclamation.
Speaking at the occasion Mr. Sanjiv Gupta, President & CEO Coca-Cola India said, "The Mumbai Festival 2005 is a first-of-its-kind event to be organized in Mumbai. The special edition of Commemorative bottles is a small gesture on our part to, acknowledge the never-say-die attitude of this multi-cultural, multi-lingual and thriving city and, imprint the memories of the festival in the minds of the people for a long time. We are thrilled to be a part of the spirit of the city, truly 'Mumbai Meri Jaan"
Coca-Cola Brand Ambassador, Ms Aishwarya Rai, said, "I am really proud to be a part of Mumbai Festival. For the first time, 'Amchi Mumbai' will carry out a gala event of the size and scale of Dubai and Singapore festivals. I am here, with Coca-Cola, to share the joy with Mumbaikars."
The 10-day Mumbai Shopping Festival begins on January 14, 2005 and will conclude on January 23, 2005. Coca-Cola India is a key partner to the Mumbai Shopping Festival.
