Krrish 2 on the cards

The Roshans are eagerly awaiting the release of their much-hyped international project 'Kites'. The film deals with a story of love and ensuing deception. The cast includes the painfully handsome Hrithik, Kangana Ranaut, the Latin belle Barbara Mori. The film is almost in the last stages of post production and gearing up for release.

In the wake of the release of 'Kites' comes the news that papa Roshan is planning for a sequel to 'Krrish'. This film which had Hrithik and Priyanka Chopra in he lead had Hrithik as a superhero. Looks like the sequel too will portray Hrithik in the shoes of a superhero.

Reports suggest that there will be a considerable change in the lead lady's role. This time the makers are trying to rope in Deepika Padukone. Seems like she has impressed the Roshan's with her lithe stunts in 'Chandhini Chowk To China'.

There is buzz in Bollywood suggesting that the next version of 'Krrish' will see 'superhero' Hrithik trying the save the wonders of the world from the bad guys. So the film is sure to span breathtaking locales around the world.

Looks like 'Krrish' will become synonymous with the desi version of Superman!

Deepika in talks to play female lead for Krrish 2

After the release of Kites, Rakesh Roshan will soon start working on Krrish 2. According to well-placed sources, the film is already in the scripting process, with a newer concept. It will feature Hrithik Roshan yet again and Deepika Padukone is being considered for the part of the leading lady.

Kites comes first

A source reveals, "After the success of Krrish, the Roshans decided to go ahead with the sequel of the movie. Their first priority was to finish with Kites and then work on Krrish 2. Kites is almost done and is in the post-production stage. Rakesh Roashan's production house FilmKraft is working on Krrish 2. They are at an infant stage and still working on script and the star cast, but it obviously includes Hrithik as the actor."

Saving Wonders

The source continues, "The layout of the script is ready and it will see Hrithik in a superhero avatar once again. He will be seen saving the Seven Wonders of the World, so naturally the film will be shot extensively at various foreign locations. Hrithik will undergo physical training once again for the role. Like the prequel, this too will have SFX and a big crew of foreign technicians."

It is believed that Papa Roshan is keen to have Deepika for the role opposite Hrithik, as he feels she suits the role perfectly and he was very impressed by her stunts and athletic character in Chandni Chowk To China. When quizzed, Roshan said, "Not thinking of anything till the release of Kites."

Anyhow,

Deepika actually seems to be fitting very well with the image the article is creating in my head 👍🏼

Should be interesting just to see what Deepika gets to do👏

well deepika has been finalised from a long long time..i remember there were many articles even before OSO existed which talked abt deepika all being final for krish 2...i actually thot krish 2 would be her debut movie..

I thought the talks at that time were about Kites, and then Deepika turned the offer down?
