Oh no no no, Saif isnt that easy to defeat. Remember Vivk and Saif in Omkara? Who stole the show from everyone?

I sort of dis-agree with Saif's comments,

I would like to ask what he & some of his fellow actors have done to stop this happening? People like Saif, Aamir, ShahRukh can all be a source of inspiration to so many muslims boys who lo9se their way & take up extremism. They can do so much to inspire them to leave weapons & promote education.

Alas the only things these people do is after every terrorist attack they come-out & give a statement saying that the terrorist are not muslims & there is no connection between religion & terror. Disappointing.

I dont know what else they can do Pragya. THey're actors, their job is to act right? And on the side if they come out and condemn attacks and attend peace rallies and do charity, its all good.

But its easier said than done to alter and change an entire community's mindset. I remember when the red mosque attack happened in Pakistan, these girls who were in the mosque at the time were called on the talk show. ANd the way she spoke, that "arrows from teh heavens rained down and shot the soldiers because the mullahs had no weapons"...well..how much more dillusional can you be? The talk show host right then said, "Clearly these girls are so brainwashed that nothign we say makes sense to them".

I dont see how saif, aamir, or Srk, can do what so many havent been able to do. Perhaps thorugh powerful movies with a powerful message they might be able to do something, but other than that, dont know

something as simple as starting a schhol for less fortunate kids, something even more simpler- sponsor kids education in Afganistan.

I have a problem with these actors giving out these statements about religion when its obvious that they are just not affected by it & are not going to do anything about it. How would a person whose parent dier in 26/11 feel when they read such statements?

The worst culprit is Aamir Khan who is always ready to crticise the govt at the easiest excuse but when attacks happens he will be first to defend his religion. All I expect is a bit more sensitivity from these actors.

But keep in mind that they condemn the attacks, but defend the religion because not every muslim is connected to such attacks. I'm mulsim, and if I were living in India after those attacks, and had everyoen pointing fingers at my faith, I would ahve felt victimized.

Its important to draw the distinction that these terrorists who kill in the name of god, or faith, should not reprsent the entire muslim community.

Saif is not even religious. I mean come on, we're talking about the guy who guessed that there are 40 days in ramzan, lol. He doesnt pray, he didnt marry a muslim, he prolly doesnt do anything that a muslim is requried to do. I think he speaks as a human being when he defends the faith. Since people are quick to point fingers, its important to direct the hostility towards the criminals, and not the faith. Had it been any other religion with extremists, I woudl expect them to do the same. But its unfortunate that it is indeed Islamic extremists indulsing in these heinous acts.

I'll be the first to say that this is NOT islam. It's some kinda..sick..mutated...messed up version of the faith that is being preached to the youngsters who are being misguided.
