Akshay Kumar is now the top taxpayer in Bollywood for the year 2008-09. Having crossed Rs 100 crore as his total earnings for the last financial year - Akshay has apparently paid a total tax advance of Rs 31 crores. Following Kumar in second place is Shah Rukh Khan who may be breathing a sigh of relief. Khan's tax payout declined marginally this year to Rs 30.9 crore a 1.7% decrease when compared to the Rs 31.5 crore shells out he done in 2007.
