After a grand entry on TV in Zee's Dance India Dance, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty will now be seen in a children's film Zor Laga Ke Haiya with Rimii Sen. The actor talks about his new film...

Tell us something about your latest film Zor Laga Ke Haiya?

Zor Laga Ke Haiya tells the story of a bunch of kids who are trying to save trees from the hands of a mean builder.

What inspired you to take up this film?

It's an issue I believe in and the film has a strong message for all of us. But most importantly, there is a vision behind this movie! The film has been well appreciated in film festivals across the world. I hope people like it here too.

Have you done something to save trees? Or are you just paying lip service?

When I bought a piece of land in Ooty there were only two trees there. But now there are about Rs 3 lakh trees. I have pictures to prove it. I love gardening and I try my best to preserve nature.

Who according to you can give you a run for your money when it comes to dancing?

I don't think anyone can compete with me! Every artiste has his/her own style of dance. People liked my dance. And I am thankful for that!
