Though I agree Hrithik was the best suited for Akbars role, it wasnt his best performance. I think this years award was so not his. If Amir wasnt great in Ghajini then Hrithik wasnt as good either.

Next year i am rooting for Aloo chat to win the best film! Lets see.. By the trends of tis year it could win it.. Best of luck aftab.

I think the awards were pretty fair. Alka should have won for Tu Muskara as I believe that was a tougher song. Priyanka deserved the award. The only other deserving person would have been Aishwarya. For the best actor, it was either Hrithik or Aamir. Hrithik deserved the award as the role of Akbar was difficult to portray. Could anyone imagine Aamir or SRK or Akshay playing Akbar - that would have been a comedy. Aamir was great too but he had the Tamil version as a reference. He basically had to do what Surya had already done. I personally believe Surya did a much better job then Aaamir. Hrithik had no reference point. Hrithik truly deserved this award. Giving it to Aaamir would be a waste of an award bcos he wouldn't take it anyway.
Again awards have not been totally fair, but these have been quite impartial. I'm extremely happy for Priyanka and Hrithik.
