Something interesting about Aitraaz

I was just watching Aitraaz the other day and I realized that its a very progressive and feminist movie. Its very rare in bollywood that the guys are the supporting cast while the women come out the main characters. Think about it. Kareena and Priyanka were the main characters.
Kareena was the the HERO who saved the day in the end.
Priyanka was the villain who pushed the story forward.
And Akshay, lmao! He was, in the true sense, the damsel in distress. He got raped by the villain and then pushed charges on her in court for assaulting him 😆😆😆

😆 interesting observation... Though I would still say that at the end of the movie Priyanka walked away with the best role in the movie...

Funny thing is that Kareena was first offered priyanka's role...but when she said no to it... Priyanka was given tht role...

No I think its good Kareena didnt do priyanka's role. One coz pri was really good at it, and two coz kareena needed a positive sweet character like Priya to change her onscreen image around. It all worked out for the best.

Hahaha, but the akshay bit was making me laugh! The poor damsel in distress!

i just cant believe he (akshay) didnt do nothing when priyanka was ''rapping'' him..it was just too funny .. however the movie was fantastic..i really like the genre of movies which involve case solving and etc.

Oh yeah, to add to the damsel in distress, his wife was the one who defended him in court! PRICELESS!
I love this movie!
Kareena and Priyanka rocked! I think the scene when they come face to face before the court scene, when she confronts priyanka about backing off her husband, that scene should've gotten some kinda award! Both ladies were so fierce and convincing in their roles.
