I was talking about the movie Black, they copied the old american black and white movie scene by scene and frame by frame. The only thing they changed was a lady training the blind and deaf girl while in the hindi movie Big B was training the blind and deaf girl

Yes, but White Nights was made into a movie in Hollywood before Sawariya, in the Hollywood version the main lead is played by Clark Gable, I'm not a 100% sure, but I know for a fact White Nights was made into a Hollywood film before Sawariya came out!!

Are you positive? If you are, where did you get this info, I'm really excited about SLB's next, that's the only reason I'm asking!!

Im not really familiar with any Hollywood version of White Nights. All i know is that the original short story is by Dostrovesky which was then turned into an Italian black and white film donkey years ago and now Saawariya. SLB was very true to Dostrovesky's story, and i guess at least he was honest about where the inspiration came from compared to rest of directors in this topic.

Nina and co, great posts here. I actually watched Falling in Love after KANK. the Hwood original bored me to tears. KANK is not one of my favorite films, but it it is way more entertaining.

The Miracle Worker. In Black, right before the film starts. He states that it is inspired by helen keller. but The Miracle Worker is also different from Black.
