I thought it would be interesting to see which movies are copied from hollywood/based..i am sure some people do not know or seen.

So you can list/add them here 😛

Barsaat(new)- sweet home alabama (Only difference is the reeses character goes back to her house in country after she gets engaged and both in america..where has in barsaat its america to india)

KKHH- very loosely (it was actually a boring movie) sleepless in seattle (Boy rings up a radio station and the women who wants to meet him is random...only similarity is single dad and kid setting up their parents and running away)

Hum tum- Harry met sally both versions similar and good i though..

U me aur hum- The notebook again very similar as well.

Aap ki khatir- The wedding date..exact copies as well liked them both.

I wish I knew the name of the black and white old american movie I watched. I wish I knew the name of the movie because the hindi movie Black was a copied scene by scene and expression by expression from that movie. I don't know what the movie was called but I was surprised that SLB didn't get sued from copying a movie frame by frame.

I can't remember the exact scenes but i think Humko Deewana Kargaya has some scenes 'inspired' from Notting Hill

White Nights was a short story by Fydor Dostrovesky - not a film, and SLB states at the beginning that the film is based on it.
