'Aamir is a passionate man'
In his latest flick Ghajini, Aamir appears heavily tattooed all over his torso. Even at the mention of a real tattoo, Kiran cringes, grateful that they were only temporary. She says, "I wasn't with Aamir for the portion of the shooting that he needed to be tattooed for. So, it wasn't like I got up everyday to see Aamir's body like that."
But she is quick to admit that they did add to the character and without them there would have been a very different feel: "It is interesting that a man can do something like that, inflict so much pain to avenge the murder of his beloved."
Kiran turns director with Dhobi Ghat, a film that has Aamir Khan in the lead and Prateik Babbar, who debuted in Jaane Tu … Ya Jaane Na, playing a pivotal role too.
We ask the debutant director to rate Aamir's performance in Ghajini and she says, "I thought he was really good. There were some shades in his character which I have never seen before. His performance has been layered. It was a challenging role and he has done really well. His intensity was fabulous throughout the film."
