Okay Farislove and everyone else, get this straight, will ya please? I don't have any problems with people consuming meat. That's what livestock is for and has been for ages: chicken, goat, pigs, cows etc. People ate these and will eat these forever.

What I do have a problem with is people killing animals (and people killing people in some wacked up religions) in the name of religion. I don't have any problem with the action, I do have serious problems with the reasons because humans can reason, they were granted with a brain, the fact that they don't utilize it before doing something something so horrendous is ridiculous to me.

I also don't like people killing endangered species. That does not mean lions and tigers killing endangered deers for meat is wrong. They do so for survival. But what reasons do humans have for shooting the tigers that are lowering in numbers day by day? There's something called ecological responsibility that every person should hold.....someone convey this to Salman Khan please.

And there's something called reasoning ability that everyone should exercise before following something blindly. 😡

To survive we do have to eat something, and i admit trees do suffer when being cut or plucked off the ground, but trees don't feel fear, the fear of death the way animals do, when you know you're about to die, the feeling you get, wanting to hang on to life, trees don't feel it the same way animals do.

Just being sarcastic or saying we love meat or putting the old arguemnt of trees having feelings too might let you sleep better at night, but you should remember that as humans when we face death (and i have nearly faced death in a road acciendent), the fear you feel, the desire to want to live, that overpowers any other emotion you might have. What's different between plants and animals is that we have a heart and brains with which we feel and think.

Killing animals is wrong, there's no two ways about it, just because we have power over them doesn't mean we should absuse it, we have power over each other as well, people who carry guns have power over others, if a gun was pointed in you're head and you were shot, you would feel the same fear that these animals do.

Whatever, i'm just jabbering on, i just feel sad, because i love animals, but cant change people's minds about what they think is right and wrong.
