But it's kind of immaturity on the part of Mrs. Kohli, that she is not even bothering to find out what is troubling her daughter and is just determined that the wedding gets done without any hindrances.
Yes it is immature.
If I had to explain from her point of view, I would say that she thinks that both Abha and Rhea did and do what they like, while Myra is always the good girl who listens to her. She cannot have that illusion broken. She may feel that once the wedding is done Akshay and Myra will work things out. I don't think she realises that over the long term they may have problems or that Myra may be deeply unhappy. Right now, she is just going to get one daughter married to an army guy and that's it!
