I am just surprised that why this twisted mode of elimination was not announced by channel on day of nomination episode i.e Monday? Announcing it then would have made it look more credible for viewers knowing fully well that bottom two nominated contestants will be at mercy of HM's. This twist could have been a surprise for contestant, why to make it surprise for viewers?

Also, this would have created more buzz for the weekend episode and would have helped fans to know clearly the consequences of their voting, viewers are the biggest stakeholders and deserve better treatment to maintain credibility as a reality show and not some facade of fixed show manipulated at whims by channel to advance it's agenda.

EDIT: Though this question arose in course of Hiten's elimination, it would be prudent not to discuss elimination in terms of a contestant which is being discussed in many other topics, would really help if ONE COMMENTS ONLY AS A VIEWER and how can we as viewer limit the whims of channel which doesn't respect viewers being stakeholders, forcing them for employing transparent process

In my opinion they wanted to save Hiten, they played out this drama once the voting results were in, they had not anticipated Shilpa voting against Hiten, she played BB team too.

On the other hand, it also legitimise re entry of Hiten as WC premised on supposition that he was never eliminated on audience votes.

I don't know--what was the reason--why Channel did all this

I am feeling this is not fair for the contestants n for public

Voting lines kyu open ki gayi--agar ki thi toh Votes kahan hai

If BB want to create a chaos at BB house--toh kam se kam Hiten ko n public ko salman bata sakta tha --ki yeh sab voting kam ya jo bi hai uske according eviction hua hai

btw if the decision of house-mates was not as per Bigg Boss' wishes then they could have easily said that it was nothing but a joke and the real decision is ------ as per viewers' votes.. chit bhi meri, pat bhi meri is Bigg Boss' policy..

btw in Season 9 Digangana was evicted this way.. she had big fan following but on show she was boring and giving no content so Bigg Boss chose this way to evict her..

Being eliminated by HM"s is in my opinion a respectable exit as compared to losing on votes against Luv and Priyank.

I don't believe that substantive interference takes place, it's only with procedures that team plays around and that's also unfair to viewers as it's trying to subvert the same process which they have laid out to conveniently change it later in name of twists.

They showed Shilpa videos to instigate her go against Vikas group. Clearly. All planned. So any how bring Shilpa down.

Wow! Well played Biggboss. First got VIkas with all his friends in the house. Gave him fake mastermind status with such majority anyone can be mastermind. And just because Vikas doesnt get the blame to evict Hiten as he forced Arshi to nominate him, this drama of eviction right after Shilpa was pissed off with Vikas and group...👏

And people say Shilpa is favored! Biggboss! What a game! Vikas is never questioned on anything on WKW.

Even how nicely Salman and Vikas twisted the captaincy thing. When VIkas was blatantly lying to Arshi and Hiten that Shilpa didnt let Puneesh become contender for captaincy. Where as Shilpa clearly took her and Puneesh's name. Kya ghumya hai pure mudde ko!

This happens every WKW. Vikas is given this fake "mahaan" title... Arshi who abuses verbally all day long is like because she is against Shilpa... Its ridiculous.
