And now we're talking about my 'guts'. Nice. If you'd like to labor under the misapprehension that logic-based and supported arguments are 'imaginary explanatory fiction stories' (whatever those are supposed to be), particularly when you fail to provide any base for that accusation, far be it from me to object.

I suggest you read posts carefully before you respond - it helps. I have no where stated that Lopa's statement was correct - on the contrary, I said that she should not have made this comment, as it was below the belt - what I object to, is your spin on her statement - the one that states she insulted Baba's mother's character.

"Because I belong to that minority in which a woman who give birth to a child out of wedlock is still considered a woman of good character therefore Lopa calling Baba an illegitimate child was not a direct attack on baba's mother's character."

^^^Hilarious Logic 🤣

Curious to know how many Indian women we know who gave birth to child out of wedlock and still are considered women of good characters and are being treated in respectable way by all.

Yes and when Bani uses words like MC BC, these words automatically become bhajan 😆😆
Had it been me in place of Lopa, I would have thrashed om and priyanka for whatever they did so far with her.

Of course. I was heretofore unaware that you're personally acquainted with all who inhabit 'our' society, and can therefore accurately measure the majority and minority divisions of perspective on this issue. Not to mention your highly compelling notion that all of society shares one religion, that likewise has a singular perspective. You can continue to paint unmarried mothers as 'characterless' - as the 'majority' of society does apparently. I'll stick with my 'minority' view.

If society i.e majority of ppl don't think this way then tell me how many Indian women do you know who gave birth to a child out of wedlock and still are considered women of good characters and are being treated in respectable way by all?

I don't know even one.

And how many women do you know that are unmarried mothers, and are considered women of bad characters and treated disrespectfully by all? There are obviously many that think unmarried mother = characterless woman - hence why I said that a section of society, does unfortunately still subscribe to such schools of thought.

I do know unmarried mothers - and the majority in our mutual acquaintance circle have never treated them that way, not even indirectly. But does it matter? You and me do not form the entirety of society, nor the majority of it - we can speculate, but as I've said before, there is no measure. Certainly not of a sweeping 'majority'.

^^Count me in.

must say, SP.. you've aptly chosen your calling. loved reading thru this discussion, and your convincing style of arguing. [been ur fan since last season] 👏

no silly laughter icons to drive home a point/ taunt someone, no resorting to opinions, but sticking to facts and covering all your bases when stating your case.. so there is no room for picking something out of context from your argument and using it against you.. like many do out here, if one isnt careful with words.

keep writing! you have an amazing way with words

When a man stooped that low...you don't become as low as him just because you retaliated in DEFENSE. What kind of disgusting thought is this? So anyone can say anything they want to you? And you have to stay "nice and kind" and be the "bigger person" ? What a joke

Thanks V! As always, you're too kind 😳 🤗. I normally wouldn't engage when the tone is taunting, the gist rooted in personal attacks, etc., as opposed to healthy and informed discussion. But I thought this point deserved an exception.

And allow me to return the compliment, with your unparalleled knack of noticing what others tend to miss, as an additional plus 👏👍🏼
