umm no it is costly because its mysterious..no one knows if mona lisa was actually a woman or a man or if she even existed. The painting isn't a masterpiece. Da Vinci was a genius however..people believe he left a clue in mona lisa's painting..that is why it got famous in the first place.

There are people who don't like it..and there are people who don't..not a big DEAL.

There are TV shows that have openly criticized the painting.
