How do you know it is lifelike and is like Lisa staring back at you?You have only seen it in pictures as you said.

I'm a fine arts student btw,and I dont like it THAT MUCH.People praise it as if it is god like or something..not that special..just a painting..Lisa is not gonna come out of the canvas and jump on anybody..NORMAL MORTAL WORK OF ART MADE ON A VERY ORDINARY CANVAS ,WITH ORDINARY OIL PAINTS ,ORDINARY BRUSHES USED...by AN EXTRAORDINARY MAN

In all honesty, I am sorry I can't agree with it is an normal mortal work of art on a very ordinary canvas , with ordinary oil paint n ordinary brushes used.
