On a sidenote anyone else eat their Pizza with Ketchup? No matter how many bottles of Heinz we have at home; my mom never wastes an opportunity to collect ketchup sachets from KFC/McDees etc to fill our "jar".

All my gora friends watch me in disbelief every time I pour ketchup on my pizza. 😒

Do you guys do that? I know my BFF and her parents do but no one in my family does that, we're not big on rice maybe that's why. I need a fork for everything. I can't even eat with chopsticks. 😆

yaar when Armaan eates , OMG I can not watch him eat , the voices come out from his mouth , unbelievable , heaven eates more sophisticatedly

i use dips for my corners but never put ketchup on pizza

Boss: Not only you.. I eat pizza with ketchup too.. and we collect the ketchup sachets too.. whenever we order Popeyes I atleast never use the sachet ketcup I would use the bottle ketchup and keep the sachets in the respective Jar 😆

When I am at home, I do eat with hands on occasion. But when there's daal, curry, or anything that has a lot of spices in it, I prefer using a spoon. Fork is very much western (in my opinion), and moreover I have hit my sensitive teeth with braces on quite a few times while eating with it. So, I avoid using a fork.

its not a big deal to eat rice withouth spoon, if u eat it in the decent way

but if u eat it like ur put almost or full hand in the rice *puke* i feel like slapping on the person's face n cut of the hand

Hahaha! This is perhaps the most interesting discussion on this forum right now 😆

I am from chennai and everyone here prefers eating rice with their hands. I can vouch for the fact that it is a million times more yummier and fulfilling! 😳 My family absolutely NEEDS to eat rice at least once a day. It feels weird to use a fork at home. But I do know of a friend here who just cannot eat with her hand. But yes, when we go out for lunch/dinner I prefer using a knife and fork for my biryani 😃 but given a choice and the place of dining is appropriate, I d chose my hands over forks. I can't explain that extra bit of satisfaction you get on eating with your hands...

But ya, I know a lot of ppl who can get very messy while eating. I hate it when they get food all over the palms and nails. It all depends upon your preference.

I know of people who use their hands to eat, and I have nothing against that personally. My own mother usually does it, but my father never, ever used his hands to eat rice and curry...even when he lived back home. 😆 Personally I prefer fork/spoon...desi food's smell is too strong and if I use my bare hands, the smell stays...sometimes I've to even spray perfume on my hands! 😆
