Sangram has also won the president's award...that single award is 100 times better than pratyusha 20 awards.

Agree he is, but I feel like he should have fought for it more. I guess b/c he is humble so he didn't. Honestly, didn't like how Gauhar handled the whole thing. I think no one really wanted to do the task either--makes everyone so uncomfortable and creates confict.

It's okay. he has not really lost anything by not winning the task. He has nothing to prove on this show against this set of people. So no worries there- he really did not need to add this to his list of achievements

Just because you cant find any mention of his awards on google ,doesn't mean he hasn't won them...In india wrestling is not popular like cricket and with the exception of sushil kumar ,no other wrestler gets that much media...In recent Delhi commonwealth games,there were so many indian wrestlers who won a gold,yet they disappeared with a trace.

If he was lying,then he would been caught long back...all the contestants know each others insider secrets,which they threaten to use against each other...the media wouldn't spare him ,they wouldn't interview without verifying his claims.

The govt of india wouldn't have spared him either for using APJ Kalam's picture,if it were fake..he is public figure and his story is well known..if it were a lie some one would have dug it up by now.

I agree with Sangram and this also went off track, because of dumbness & selfishness of Gauhar... This girl will never get things right. Because self comes into everything. She is happy that Kushal is 2nd and she is in 4th 😆

Even Asif is way better than anyone of the show, this guy is one of the top 100 models of the world, is not a joke. Every person has their own audience. Sangram is way much more achiever than any other person here. So ya... It's that Gobar ... What you can expect

Anyway, this was a pointless exercise 🤢

Sangram Singh's real name is Sanjit Kumar Dangi.. He's won several international events and is a famous local champion in Delhi.. He was even part of the Delhi Police and used to wrestle for them and brought them medals in the All India Police Meet Wrestling.. The reason you don't see this plastered everywhere is because in India athletes are not appreciated, and only ones who get some recognition are those who manage to bring something from the Olympics.. Sangram has won many national medals for India and even brought home international medals, but you will criticize because they have never got the recognition for their hard work.. It was only Sushil Kumar bringing gold in Olympics which gave little bit of spotlight to greco-roman wrestling, but even despite that, Gurbinder Singh, Dharminder Dalal, Ravinder Singh, Rajbir Chhikara are few Indian wrestlers who have won medals for India only last year, but even their info can hardly be found on google..

Anyways, here is an article about Sangram Singh's little tiff with the Delhi Police back in 2008.. http://www.mid-day.com/news/2008/jan/929613.htm

and even the article, from 2008, states that,

"Constable Sanjit Kumar Dangi, a Greek-Roman style 96-kg champion, was given marching orders by the Delhi police for not taking departmental permission to participate in the World Beach Wrestling tournament in Italy.

Dangi, who won a gold medal in a wrestling competition held in South Africa and is five times Delhi champion"
