If he can lie about winning gold medal at prestigious commonwealth games, he can lie about anything..

I haven't found a single evidence of any medal won by him..and have proved that several of the awards that he claims he won, were won by somebody else. The only video of him wrestling is him wrestling on the COLORS TV show which was just a show for kids entertainment.

The guy could even be lying about being born premature with arthritis. If Indian media haven't bothered to question him about his brazen lies about medals and awards won, I hardly expect them to go his village to find out is he was actually suffering from arthritis in childhood.

if you ask me, sangram stands way ahead of all the tv actors...no offence but i feel sportsperson getting recognition from another country and actually winning the world championship is just way way ahead of any tv actor...unless that actor has done the same for his or her country... ...even if sangram back bites later in the show, still he will be no 1 in this (crazy) ranking task...

Thats fine, but he hasn't got any recognition from another country or won any world championship (fake pro-wrestling tournaments don't count). There are hundreds of sportsmen and women who deserve more recognition and fame than Sangram. Ironically, Sangram has become more successful than real sportsmen who have actually won medals at serious competitions because a) he is good-looking b) he is good at acting on TV..the same reason TV actors become famous,😆

Don't make it a country issue. I'm only pointing out his lies. He is a clever guy who has found his ticket to fame by hiring PR agencies who have marketed him effectively. You don't know much about WWP or WWF, do you? These tournaments are all about gaining TV viewership. Hence they hire good looking, but average wrestlers and make them superstars. All the matches in these tournaments are fake.

Just like magic, the world of wrestling is highly secretive in nature. For decades, the wrestlers spoke in their own language to keep the secret of their sport alive. Just two decades ago, John Stossel was beaten up for daring to ask a wrestler if wrestling was real. Today, the secret is out of the bag.

Is it fake?

Wrestling is just as fake as Gone With the Wind, any Shakespeare play, and critically acclaimed television shows like The Sopranos and The West Wing. The only difference between a pro wrestler and Al Pacino is that Al gets many chances to nail a scene while if a wrestler screws up, the entire world sees their mistake.

no... anyone cannot just eidt it ... u try ... it will show ur ip address etc... and then if not valid ..it is removed 2... however on controversial topic wiki is not reliable at all ... just like any newspaper or news channel in the world ... n if site doesn't work may be the web page expired... but it doesn't take the credit of common wealth gold medal ... it is something u can't lie ...if Bigg boss contestant detail also show this then u have to consider that it is a valid statement .. if i only say something bigg boss will not include that in my details till it is valid ...

Don't make dumb arguments. You can create a wiki account and edit any article. Yes, your editions are scrutinized and if they are not verifiable, then your modifications are removed. But in this case, it is obvious that fake reference was provided which was not properly verified by wiki editors.

This is the real website of commonwealth wresting games. Since nobody (except its owners) can edit this website, its commonsense, that results on these pages should be considered as more reliable than on a wiki page.
