How do you know he is not respecting his own opinions?
As far as getting pally with Armaan is concerned, maybe he is a person who doesn't believe in holding grudges, maybe he is scared of the oaf, (I know I would be, his violent nature is frightening), or maybe Armaan apologized and Asif forgave him. We don't know the back story here. Anyway, I don't see Asif having a so called "friendship" with anyone in the house, let alone Armaan. He tries to talk, mingle, but everyone just shuts him out.

Salman himself makes fun of Asif.

Ideally I wouldn't want him to be mocked either but just look at what he is saying. The other day he said infront of salman:

"Saab dost hai yaha. Ek doosre ka tatti saaf karte hai"

People are laughing at him more for the senseless things he is saying and not his hindi. I'm sorry but this is not the case of language barrier. His hindi is way better than some one like claudia ciesla yet you never heard her some stupid thing like that.

They laugh at each too, didn't you see their chappal war?they pulled Andy's leg too when he was wearing that onesie ..they mock sangram's singing too..Asif himself didn't look like he was seriously angry with them..he was smiling when he said they shampooed him four times.its just like some random college boys pulling each others leg, people need to lighten up.
Though I hate it when they curtly tell him off, that he needs to seriously tackle it by showing some spine and not going anywhere close to them or by speaking up.He is from glamour world, its much tougher than bigg boss house,i am sure he knows how to deal with such behaviour by now.

Gauhar didnt do anything wrong with Asif today! She told everyone to let him finish and calm down... stop unnecessarily bringing Gauhar in it, she barely laughed. Hell boys got carried away and everyone found it funny... it was pretty funny, what to do!

That is the question isnt it? I had the same question. But I guess I know why- Arman and Tanisha bully him too but compared to the other group, its slightly less. For eg: Armaan is short with him but he doesnt say: Learn to speak first or shriek with laughter when he speaks. Their attitude is despicable but comparatively less aggressive, in a sense, and that is why he is with him. And about being hurt about Armaan - I am guessing you are talking about the wishing well incident- well Asif lied about his wish, didnt he? So I guess he feels responsible for it. And he is trapped with 12-13 people who bully him and hence he sticks close to the ones who dont aggressively do it.

Taking a stand against bully is called speaking out.

Really? Then there is something wrong with my dictionary😆

But anyway- assuming that taking a stand against bullying is speaking out, how do you expect him to take a stand when people aggressively bullied him when he started speaking today about yesterday's torture. Bullying victims are usually scared of speaking up because it leads more unwanted attention and speaking up against the perpetuators only if there is an authority figure to control the bullies-which is absent here. He lives among these people.

Do you really think Asif is ridiculed only because of his Hindi or also because of the unwarranted, uncontrolled crap that he says in the most unexpected situations ? I honestly think its the later. That and the fact that people don't like people who follow around bullies even after getting humiliated like papus.

And besides, Indians make fun of each other's Hindi all the time. Those who are saying that it is racism have obviously never lived in India. Watch Indian movies/Hindi tv channels and see how they ridicule the way:

Biharis speak hindi
Punjabis speak hindi
Tamils speak hindi
Pahadis speak hindi
Tamils speak hindi
Marathis speak hindi
Hyderabadis speak hindi
Bengalis (west) speak hindi

It's not done with racial intent but just for pure fun. I have seen Paksitani TV shows like Hasb - e Hal and moin akhtar parodies and they make fun of how different people speak urdu with an accent as well. Like I said it is just for pure entertainment. Please don't apply western standards of racism to desis, it just not right.

You can call it Hindi language chauvinism at worst but racism ?? Hell No !!

👏👏👏
Exactly!! Also I dont think they were laughing and giggling on his accent, but all that they did was kinda fun for them. Yes, it was overboard to some extend but wasn't it a task? they did not "torture" him for no reason. That was actually the task given that hell mates had to be devils. If they would have treated people like angels that would ve been against the rules!!! What bully bully.. That was freaking part of the task and was not done to bully someone!

I dont think its racism at all. He isnt being bullied because he is Bangladeshi/ his hindi sucks. You are saying he is being bullied because he talks crap- okay assuming thats true, do you think that makes the bullying acceptable? If someone humiliates me constantly treating me in such a degrading way, people laughing and giggling and catcalling just because he talks crap?

If that is acceptable, then most kids in school/colleges are bullied/ragged because they are juniors. they are stupid or fat/dark-is that acceptable?
