I have read this so many times that its embedded in my brain. I think the answer was present in today's episode. Asif goes to accuse the jahannumwasis about their inhuman treatment and what happens?

Catcalls, Shilpa's hysterical laughter, Kammo-Pratyusha's giggling, humiliating attitude by Kushal,Andy,Sangram and Apurva(😲) and sneering by Gauhar. This guy already suffers from language barrier, has no one(absolutely no one) to support him and even before he really begins to speak people start catcalling.

Can we really expect him to speak up? What happens after speaking up? A greater degree of bullying and humiliation...

I was rooting for Gauhar this last week, the week before for Tanisha, now I am absolutely disgusted by both. This week Gauhar showed what a bully she was... She was the captain and she let Asif be abused and bullied with little regard of him. I am so sick of this.

I agree with you completely, as soon as he put his hand up, the hell side started making remarks. When he started speaking, they were sniggering, even Gauhar was sniggering. I don't blame him for not speaking up now, he has an issue with speaking Hindi, they could be considerate but no.

A similar situation happened with Shilpa Shetty in Big Brother and the British public supported her, I hope the Indian audience support Asif, this is bullying, and can be seen as being racist as well!

I so agree. Asif has done nothing to deserve such treatment from all the housemates. Some bully him, and some watch silently without doing anything to stop it. And when he does choose to stand up for himself, the bullying gets worse. I am happy the viewers are supporting him, after all at the end they decide who goes out and who stays in.

Thats what i was think becoz he reminds me of Shilpa in Big brother ..anyway no problem carry on with the bullying because that"s Asif's gain..see with in the forum even those who were supporting others has turned into his fans. Asif has language issue and thats why he is tolerating ..i m sure he will go too far. Those who are bullying actually in secured about him

Am disgusted with the way Asif was treated today..Why exactly were they laughing when Asif came forward to express his grievance? What was so funny? Or is it just superiority complex and they love ganging up on a guy who cannot stand up for himself? Horrifying to say the least..Makes me want to root for him..

Yh, it's pathetic! In England the media had gone crazy, people were complaining to Channel 4, helicopters were circulating the house, it was a huge issue. Racism is taken seriously here.

I'm surprised no one has gone anything about it in India, it's clearly racism.

The prevalent attitude to bullying is usual of two types:

1) Pretend it isnt happening: This is how the others in the house( non vocal bullies). They look away as he is bullied and humiliated or worse they laugh at the bullying. There are some of viewers with the same attitude- why blame my favorite(insert random contestant here) everyone bullies him? Does that make it less awful that your contestant bullies him too? If seven people stab a guy, everyone is equally liable- one cant say why blame me the other six did the same? I understand being a fan its hard to take criticism but blurring lines between right and wrong to protect your favorite is not done.

2)Blame the victim: From rape victims to bully victims, this another attitude. Why doesnt Asif stand up for himself? He is a sissy who cant defend himself- Well today he tried and look what happened? Bullies dont shut up if you speak up- they shut up when a bigger force stops them..
