The people who were laughing at Asif were the jokes to me. Just because he has language problems you do not behave like that, such losers. From a non supporter of all, I became an Asif supporter because of all the bullying on him.

The kind of ridicule he gets subjected to on a daily basis is just too much, yet he braves it all with a smile and tries to move on, but the housemates are least bothered and will continue to treat him him like utter crap because they know they can get away with it, they mock him and he holds an umbrella out for Shilpa, he's too polite for the ambience in the house.

Kushal is the worst in that regard, irony is his lack of articulation is even worse, Asif at least has a valid reason, Kushal is an Indian born n bred, yet his speech is so slurred like the drunks you see in the subways.

Pratyusha Banerjee who herself is BENGALI - albeit of Indian origin, makes fun of Asif . Is she racist towards him too ??

Please do not compare Elli's accent to Asif's .. A woman who shares nothing similar to our culture comes down to India and has learnt Hindi so well for a foreigner can be nothing but complimented on teh effort

Asif - I liked him very much earlier, found him goodlooking and even voted for him when he was nominated. But as I get to see him more, his stupid behaviour, talent to make a fool out of himself, I have lost respect for him and wont vote for him again

Please dont make it an India Bangladesh thing. indians are not homogenous. Punjabis make fun of South INdians, Tamils make fun of Malayalis, white skinned brahmins joke about darker skinned people, Asif being from Bangladesh may be a part of discrimination , but in the educated class it is more about CLASS. We are now mostly independent of Religion and Caste and Creed and the discrimination arises from CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS

If I were a celebrity and met Asif, I may have liked his looks , but then I would simply stay away for his lack of class.

Ironically, I know Bangladesh who still mae friends based on RElgion . Thats WORSE !
