Isn't "Love" all about respect and trust? Isn't it about going beyond physical appearance? If Shilpa loves Apurva so much, she should have RESPECTED his judgement in taking that decision of cutting his hair. He is no fool, he is a grown man with brains and he would surely have calculated the risks (personal or professional) before saying YES to it. He could have refused. Shilpa should trust that her husband knows what he is doing.
Personally, I feel even a Mohawk haircut is not such a drastic change. It can be passed off as a fashion. And if it was something so bad (bad enough to 'justifiy' Shilpa's reaction), surely the hell-vasis wouldn't have thought badly of Apurva for refusing.
A wife who truly loves her husband would love him with or without good looks. Getting hysterical over something like this seems...just shallow...as if there is only a "good" Apurva that she can love; the "bad, disobedient" one needs to be corrected with violent displays of anger.
Shilpa needs to wake up and see the genuine goodness of her husband--the team spirit and the utter lack of personal vanity which made him agree to this step. THAT is what she should love him for, not for his hair!
