So just because Elli didn't have the "guts" to tell him off, it's her fault ? This is something I could never wrap my head around.
I agree girls should be strong and should have the courage to stand up for themselves. But why are we expecting that girls should react right there and then. Is it possible she took a stand, which she did when she asked them not to, but got diverted or ignored with the two (Pratz and Armaan) and their on going mocking. Why pretend like she didn't say anything, when she did, but wasn't given the importance. Also, even if she hadn't objected and reacted later, why slam her for it. Is it possible the girl didn't know how to react when friends started mocking her in the manner. Is it possible she felt bad that her friends passed her remarks for her and thus hurt and the delayed reaction of crying. I mean there could be million reasons as to why she didn't react the way you would like her to from cultural differences, to language barrier to them being friends to many others. End of the day, the issue is just because you think she didn't take a stand the way you would like her to, she is just as guilty
Suppose the opposite had happened..Elli or some other girl had said to Sangram or Armaan "Big Boss chahte hai ki aap shirt pant utaar kar sirf underwear me yoga karen'', would you or anyone else on this forum got offended?Of course, guys don't have the privilege of responding "Ek thappad maroonga", so Armaan would have probably laughed it off, or pretended to take off his shirt or actually would have took off his shirt..The outrage that you are feeling is a conditioned response. Women have been programmed to feel offended at such comments while men have been conditioned to feel flattered if a woman wants to see her naked.😆

If you think calling out when someone crosses their line by using lewd remarks like "kapde phaad dunga" "chumma de dunga" is the conditioned response to feel offended, so be it. But then again I am glad at least there are few men on the forum who feel the same way as us women, so looks either there is something wrong with their conditioned response or yours. And I am sure you already know who is wrong in my dictionary and since you "hardly care", no point in mentioning it 😆
Haha..you should listen to these men when they are with their beer buddies. I feel embarrassed at the kind of lewd comments they make about girls. You won't see their bawdy, foul-mouthed, lecherous side on this forum. Anyway, if you prefer their phony sympathy for ellie to my honest assessment, its your choice. Why is everyone distorting Armaan's words? No one actually heard him say that since those lines were edited out. From his own admission, he said that - jo mujhe thappad marta hai, main yaa to usko kiss karta hoo, ya uske kapde phad deta hoon. He was making a conditional statement - that he would kiss any girl who would dare to slap him. What's lewd in that? He certainly wasn't threatening to kiss Ellie or tear her clothes. Its like saying - If you'll slap me, I'll kill you. Only a moron would consider that to be threat of murder. Yet, everyone is treating his statement as if he was actually threatening to strip her. 😔

Dude, I would love to continue, but it seems I can't see your point and you can't see mine, so let's just end it here before we make you start "caring" about things 😆
Okay, okay.. I know now that "you guys" 😉 will never see my point.I just happened to see the Elli vs Naag Man! thread...and am not very surprised to see that Cruiser (the most intelligent guy on the forum) too felt that the incident was much ado about nothing. Well, if someone like Cruiser, who is the most popular and loved guy here, couldn't convince anyone, what chance do I have?Chalo, won't bother you anymore. I wish I had seen that thread before undertaking the foolhardy task of posting my honest observation. 🤢

Why do you feel that someone who is popular and loved has to be right. And not to forget we are talking about virtual fame here. You are talking about logical arguments, but your logic fails right here 😆 It's like saying Salman is so popular and loved and he has to be right, I hope that sounded as ridiculous to you as it did to me. If not then, oh well, I "hardly care" 😆
And no worries, "we guys" know when to draw the line than argue someone's wrong opinions 😆
I didn't say that someone who is popular and loved has to be right. What I said was that if someone like him, who is popular and loved, and whose opinion is respected even if not always accepted, failed to convince anyone, what chance does an "outsider" like me has? Not many here know me, as I don't post often...so most likely my opinion, even if was the most logical opinion ever, would still be dismissed as that of typical sick Indian man who doesn't respect women.
