He was evicted ahead of Dimpy and Puneet, because of his tiffs with Salman Khan. Now Salu is gone, no pressure on BB to undo a mistake in evicting Upen. So he is brought back

Upen's eviction was the best thing to happen in BB8.

Besides Salman told him nothing wrong - we all know Upen was playing games and started getting offensive defensive with Sallu. He doesn't understand and listen and starts shooting his mouth of. He was giving Sallu unnecessary attitude.

I think Sallu was fair on him.

However Upen is brought in for hightlighting the 45 min segment of the show around Rahul - krish and upen and dimpy!
