instead of sitting at home eating "maggi" and being too proud y didnt he take up a regular day time job like at some call center or teaching job at some school and earned money to support himself and his family?🤢🤢

I really dislike Upen. But I am not mean spirited. It's sad to hear that he struggled and had to take control of the family situation following his father's death. Life can be unkind.

Having said that, the audience should judge Upen as a contestant, and not because of what he had to say about his life. At the end of the day - everyone has a story to tell. But this is a reality show. Jo dikhta hai ghar mein, wohi matter karta hai.
