Some people don't adopt or use another language to maintain a twisted sense of superiority. Anyway, Youpen knew what he was getting into when he signed on for Bigg Boss. Was he expecting special privilege?

But but but, I do have this to say as well. People make a big deal of say so done like Katrina not speaking well or at all in Hindi and yet they are so forgiving of their very own countryman who can't speak the majority language, I.e. Hindi. I am speaking of Prabhudeva. How come no one questions his lack of Hindi skills and he is respectfully excused away on many national platforms?

Interesting point. I once read an article where the Brits were accused of never making an effort in trying to learn new languages. They tend to holiday a lot in European cities and yet most of them don't even try to learn the basics of French, German or Spanish. These are not my views - read it in an article. But I think to an extent it is true. There is a sense of English being a superior language! But there is a unique beauty of all cultures and languages. One should try to make an effort to explore.

Going off topic. Sorry TM!

Where am I attacking Gujjus. I am saying they are possessive and pride themselves on teaching their kids their language and preserving their roots and lifestyle. I've seen it first hand through several generations born and raised outside India. Stop seeing observations as attacks and welcome the dialogue.

My bad if Hindi is not the national language. I was under the impression that it was. So is Hindi a regional language like the rest. And is there a national language, if so, what is it?
