All these ppl liked the post and maximum members are "Female " and they didn't have nay problem + i didnt post to degrade any of female members here okay ☯️

probably Tanna's ka asar pardh gaya hai "make issue out of tissue aur keechte jaao " 😉😆

It's not a question of who has a problem and who doesn't. Maybe you didn't mean to degrade any woman - but by equating "gossiping" and "idhar ki baat udhar karna" and for that matter "kisi ki burai karna" - as traits of a woman - you are in fact insulting women.

Oh and by the way - your excuse "make issue out of tissue" - etymologically refers to complaints of Rape. That's standard male response to dismiss such complaints by women as non-issues. Another faux-pas.

Nopes not Karishma effect at all. What I was trying to point out is that the way we show Political Correctness in addressing issues of religion, caste, color and social standing - so too does Gender Sensitivity need to be inculcated in us all if we need to move out of a culture that supports against violence against women. Not saying that you are personally guilty of it - just saying that perhaps you and the 26 other members who appreciated this need to wake up to the fact that we are associating everything NEGATIVE AS FEMININE TRAIT - not fair is it?

Nopes, not joking - perfectly serious. Lot of attitude adjustment and language sensitivity in order there.

Stereotyping is common in a discussion forum like IF. I have read/heard such statements on If n outside IF.
Having said that, i think its better we dont get too personal and serious about statements like these. There are many statements stereotyping males as well like Men are such slobs and how "Dads" know nothing about their kids and only Moms do...i grew up hearing things like these.
Anyway, my point is that we shouldnt get offended too much...it only sucks the fun out of everything.

Strictly my view on this whole stereotyping. 😃
PS- TM is a friend and I know him enough to say tht he didnt mean to demean/degrade women.

Sorry state of world . While trying to criticise housemates and calling them out on their double standards and stereotyping, memebrs themselves are committing one blunder afzer another.

This is precisely my problem - I will not scream Insult to Women and No Respect for Women - if somebody gives a gaali - that is an overt form of sexism. It is this kind of subtle sexism and gender stereotyping that we need to fight day in and day out.

It is very easy for people to take a stand on a Gaali - but this - no one will support or take a stand on. The woman will be shushed and told that she's making a mountain of a molehill. But this is precisely the kind of mindset and thinking that leads to further crimes against women and undercuts support to them.

I too have interacted with the TM on various occassions and know that this kind of overt sexism is not intended. What I'm trying to point out is that we need to show gender sensitivity.

All of us have grown up listening to a lot of stereotyping - North Indians against "Madrasis"
, South Indians against "Marwaris and Punjabis", a lot of caste based and religion based jokes and denigraions - but our generation has consciously risen above such things. Why can't we make a small conscious effort to be gender-sensitive?

What we take an effort for today - we pass on to our society and kids tomorrow - one minute of thought and we stand to change the biases - not too much to ask is it?

Now I wouldn't ask this of someone whom I know would not even understand the importance of what I'm saying. But the TM - I'm confident is sensitive enough to get the point.

@Purva ... i appreciate ur replies in here but if u wanna continue this discussion then make one thread in "Debate Mansion" which is more appropriate place to discuss things which you are interested in coz rest of us are only concerned about BB show and PUNZ hot pants 🤣

He is also a gossip queen, always after the girls.

Hope he did not win the Ice task and gets thrown out next week.

He deserves no respect. Just because he is old/senior does not mean that he should get respect.
Respect karmo se milta hain umar se nahin 😡
