He didn’t just distanced, he goes against him every time, taunts him every time. Its karan who doesn’t respond and goes silent when he brings up that topic.

He didn’t invest his all in avi, he invested his all in karan and shilpa initially.

And he made visible distance after shilpa went against him untill time god task. He wasn’t even looking at her when she was saying they can be friends even if they are in diff group. He started being cordial after she chose him time god but still kept a mental distance. He's cold as ice to her mostly.
