How should DEVO have replied to Salman?

Looking at the promo where Devo is called out by Salman for getting opinionated on Shamita, it is evident that Salman is biased and fully pushing to make things stand right for "Shamita". I mean...how is the host speaking up for contestants now? Since when was his job to be a lawyer for contestants?

Yesterday, Salman was talking about forgiving and stuff. Why didn't Shamita allow Rajiv to forgive Afshana?

Everybody knows why this season was ruined despite being full of worthy candidates, reason is Biggboss and the team themselves. But the team blaming the contestants now.

Coming to the Subject, Devo should have replied to Salman in this manner in my pov:

Salman: "Since the time you have come in, you are just going after her, feels like you've got a complex with her.

Devo: "See Sir, it's my opinion"

Salman: "She doesn't wanna take your opinion, you climbing on her shoulder and you being noticed right now"

Devo's ideal reply: It's okay. Welcome to Biggboss Sir. This is the reality. I can and I will. This is not the Shamita Shetty Show. Stop being her lawyer, please.

What's your take on how she should have replied?

You are being very silly because I don’t think he’s only been acting like an advocate of Shamita only. He has done that for many other contestants and people who are being so selective in their memories of WKV are perhaps as biased as what they blame him for. I think this is a negative campaign being run by her rivals.

Remember this is also the third time Devoleena has been given the opportunity to be on the show. She’s come in having watched much more than Shamita has, so even that argument seems like a stretch.

Please quote some instances where Salman actually took a stand like this and to ask him/her to back off since he/she has been going on top of him/her since long.

I am just being neutral here. I don't like it if the host interferes in the arguments and I have never liked it when Bigg boss manipulates the rhythm of the show.

I am no fan of Shamita and lately she has been irritating me, but Devoleena is becoming another Teja who cannot articulate. It isn’t about opinion at all. Opinion is a two way street - if I keep going at you when you ignore me it’s not an opinion. Also, it is not based on either fact or knowledge. But if we both are conversing and I say my piece and you respond that’s different.

She could have said this,” I may not be polished in articulation but I said what I felt. I saw her behaviour, and likened it to an insect- she is welcome to ignore me as I am aware she gets offended very easily. I cannot say things and hope it does not offend her as it will be offensive to me to restrict my voice and feelings. Plus, she has her support people and she is an adult, and in this case I believe I said what I had to and if that makes me a villain so be it”.

Shamita is also coming 3rd time.

And Devo has seen episodes as a wildcards. Shamita has seen them as a contestant which is the height of cheating, rigging and scamming.

In Devoleena’s season, and in many seasons, contestants who have secret room access have been able to watch episodes. This is part of the game’s format that different contestants get different advantages and disadvantages during the course of the show. Just because it’s someone who’s not your favourite this time doesn’t mean you should create false narratives of bias of which there is no evidence.

Was Shamita going to a secret room? Sorry we must have missed that announcement or task.

Oh no. She wasn't? It was a fake injury to take a break from the show, relax, rejuvenate and sneakily watch the episodes and come back? Yeah right. That is what we call a racket. Which Shamita pulled off.
