Umar's ranking was 11 due to his poor performance. I'm talking about 'nepotism' here. Unlike Shamita, Umar with no credibility or work resume is on BB due to sheer nepotism only which no one speaks about. Stick to topic.

Vikas mostly comes as a mentor or guest, everyone knows he is not an contestant who may win he is only there for agg lagaoing.And for that also he has faced criticism.

Secondly, Shamita even without the nepotism tag, is not a likeable contestant. In Ott, she came across as an arrogant pretentious person who actually was highly favoured by kJo throughout the show.So minus "Nepotism" also, Shammo doesn’t have anything likeable regarding her, Janta has given their verdict in OTT.

The more the makers will favour her, the more She will be hated, because she is pretentious and arrogant, not because she is a woman.Same thing goes for Neha, Apart from doing all the pda with pratik, What Neha did for the game? Nothing - instead of that she has saved and favoured where someone like Akshara was out who was far more popular.

I know misogyny is a thing very much relevant in our society. But here, it’s not about misogyny.

I simply don’t agree - some of the others - like Kundra, Teja and Jay (until recently) - are living outside, sans their comforts, sleeping on the floor, eating basic food, etc etc. - with their fate more often than not in the more privileged lot’s hands. Shamita ko daalo iss waali “VIP” position mein BB - LMAO.

She gets all the privileges and throws around this pathetic attitude as if she owns the BB house. Nishant and Pratik never behave in that manner. Even yesterday she had a problem if some coffee powder was stolen from her bottle and started stating some BS rules!! The entitlement this female shows off is just infuriating.

The approach is definitely selective where Shamita is favored every weeek by BB and Salman while Umar is humiliated

My point is regarding the selective outrage on 'nepotism' as stated in the topic. You're mentioning something else which is not what this topic is about.

Umar got noticed coz of asim but that doesn’t mean he got the bb offer coz of asim. Umar was very active during bb 13 and he was handling the SM account and that’s when the audience got to know umar and felt the connection as well.

He has done some music videos which he got on his own not coz of asim and the ppl he has worked with admire him and always said good thing abt him personalily and professionally.

He is a surgeon by profession and he is following his passion so it’s his own credibility and definitely the creatives saw some potential in him that is y he was approached.

This is not nepotism at all.

True. But there's clearly a difference. Umar is not even being shown in the main episodes. Neutral viewers don't know who he is, it could be due to his lack of performance or BB's editing as his fans are saying..I am not going to argue about either.

But here we have Shamita, coming into BB the third time. Being favoured for the third time by the hosts. So what if she left in the middle of the season? So what is she was in OTT? She played as a contestant in both like she is playing now. You can't even compare it to Vikas because everyone knew he wasn't going to be there for a long time and he came in for another contestant. They're both not the same. Shamita has come as full fledged contestant for the third time to win the trophy..how weird that is. Will she be given an another chance years later if she doesn't win this time around too??

And Umar will get flak too but not when he is not there in the main episodes. Even with the amount of fans he has(thanks to his brother) it's not going to do him any good if he isn't being shown..may be once he gets the footage or plays well , may be he will get the same hate Shamita is getting...if you remember, people used to hate Jaan Kumar Sanu too because of nepotism angle in the last season... Privileged ones will always get the hate. It has got nothing to do with their gender. Simple.

Shamita is the most favoured player. No doubts there. Queen Shamita makes her own rules and breaks the rules as per her conviniences. Thats why gets flak. Umar is not the favoured one. He got bashed unnecessarily.

I remember watching few of the interviews BB 13 k time pe jisme Rashmi's brother ,Mahira's mother etc the with Umar ,there he used to stand out.

It's true Asim k fans usko support krte h but this is also true ki usme kuch baat dikhti h isliye otherwise to kitne bhai behan relatives hote h contestants k.

I don't think colors favour karta h Umar ko ,rangu Asim ko hi kahan favour kiya tha kabhi jo uske bhai ko krega
