Shamita gets flak for 'Nepotism' but not Umar?

So Shamita gets flak for Kangana's newly taught word to Indians 'Nepotism' (& let me tell you, most of these people doesn't know what nepotism even means!), but Umar doesn't? Why the blatant hypocrisy?

So when Shamita, a Bollywood actress who has done several big banner movies, has several hit songs to her credit including one of the most iconic item song of the past decade (Sharara), has done many reality shows gets on BB, it's due to 'nepotism' but when Umar, a literal nobody in showbiz gets on BB *only* due to his brother's name, no one cries nepotism?! 🤪

Atleast Shamita has the credibility & work resume to her name to be on BB, which Umar doesn't yet he gets no flak from fans! Is it because Shamita is a woman or belongs to a more popular family or maybe both which makes her a soft target for 'nepotism' trolls to come at her? I assume so.

Same happened to Neha Bhasin on BBOTT, people slammed her to no ends for doing the same things Pratik also did, but Pratik became one of the most popular & well loved contestant while Neha got all the hate, despite the fact they were both equally involved? 🤬

See the pattern? Guess I'm not wrong. The misogyny exists to this day & also among the 'woke' Indian public.👎🏼

PS. This is NOT an Umar/Pratik hate post, I'm using them as an example to show the blatant hypocrisy of some people.

You are absolutely right.

Umar should get 2 more seasons of BB .. next time seedha entry to main house with privileges also.

He should have hosts and BB make wkv all about him in positive light and footage and all tasks ka hosts wagerey like RJ , sing baby sing etc.

btw. Why this comparison ? Beyond entry if it’s actually nepotism in his case (don’t know asim or Umar before show) … It’s not like Umar is getting promoted by BB but was in fact scolded … . What was his ranking by Farah ? I think 11… perhaps that’s why no one actually speaking much about him ? 🤔🤔🤔.

Kyunki simple baat hai Shamita is doing very well in BB so usse neche girane ke liye nepotism word use karenge hi Umar isn't doing utna acha so no nepotism word for him 😂😂😂 and also bcoz shamita is a woman agar koi man hota phir nobody would have cared utna.

Umar has no 3 times experience na in bb isliye he is not good.Let him come for more 3 times,he will be ofcourse.

Vikas came for multiple seasons, no one spoke about nepotism then.

Kundrra, Teja & Vishal were also promoted, Jay's abuses to Pratik was also ignored, Donal being unfairly targeted by others was also ignored & I could on & on about major issues which Sallu didn't spoke about. Pratik & Nishant also got a direct entry with privileges in the main house. Yet Shamita is the one you noticed?

Umar's ranking was 11 due to his poor performance. I'm talking about 'nepotism' here. Unlike Shamita, Umar with no credibility or work resume is on BB due to sheer nepotism only which no one speaks about. Stick to topic.

Yeah true it is not ladka vs ladki ....if it was then for the same reason, vikas gupta was bashed in the same way for coming again n again...

I agree nepotism is not a right word for last wkw episode n her getting limelight ... It is more like coming from influential background ... If someone try to observe, teja is also not doing something great in show apart from some comic scene n that one verbal fight with shamita in last 2 weeks, but she is also promoted by colors so same influential thing but people are liking her presence.. but the difference is Shamita has come to this 3 times that's why people are getting irritated with her same like vikas gupta

Sometimes I feel it's personal insecurity & misogyny among some people who hates on Shamita for no reason. She doesn't deserve it.

But thankfully the love & appreciation for Shamita is overpowering the hate for her.

She's playing great & has emerged as one of the most strong contestant on BB. 👍🏼

Shamita' gets flak for being favoured, given undue advantage, not being taken to task when she is wrong...all this has a cumulative effect and public is not blind. They understand the dynamics. This undue support from BB was the reason why she was not even in top 2 in OTT and this time too her chances are slim. People have a tendency to support the underdogs and it's not nepotism but favouritesm that's going to bring her down.
