In the late night masala clip of last episode,

Rahul was seen talking to Aly and Jasmin about how Disha told her about changing her last name in her passport, which made him go in cloud nine...and both Aly and Jasmin finding it so cute and adorable...this small talk tells you in a nutshell why they are so close as friends.

Their thinking is very old school and regressive. Like Aly said, men still expect women to take their last name after marriage, and don't like it if they deny....and then these are the same people who have problem with women getting some special privileges to balance the patriarchy. Because according to them, patriarchy is equality.

Misogyny is not cute or adorable in anyway imo

What????? Are you serious???? Why are you using such words as Patriarchy and misogyny, which have nothing to do with the topic being discussed. Is he forcing her to change her name? It’s her choice and he’s happy about it. So, According to you, it’s not equality if Disha wants to exercise her choice to change her name? It might be appear regressive to you , but not everyone think so.

I don’t think this issue particularly reflects misogyny and patriarchy BUT Aly and Rahul have time and again shown that they are indeed misogynists. They do have regressive views regarding women. Only if people spoke more about their regressive views regarding women than apples and fruits, shayad society ke liye hi acha ho jata😆

Because its as cool as using the woman card....use this words and get the men bashed even if their talk doesn't even suggest something like that......from the OP its clear that its Disha who wanted the last name changed in the passport...what is the problem here if she is not being forced to make the change?? Fake feminism is the real hinderance to feminism...

Michelle Obama surely wasn’t Obama before marriage

Gauri Khan wasn’t Khan before marriage

Guess then even as per the topics understanding Barack Obama and shah rukh Khan are also regressive

Agree with your post. And Aly being in constant fear of someone pulling a women card tells me all I need to know 😎
