Because its as cool as using the woman card....use this words and get the men bashed even if their talk doesn't even suggest something like that......from the OP its clear that its Disha who wanted the last name changed in the passport...what is the problem here if she is not being forced to make the change?? Fake feminism is the real hinderance to feminism...

Exactly 👍🏼. It’s called pseudo feminism and being fake woke😆. And the funny part is, the same ppl who are calling RahLy as misogynists were finding it oh so cute and romantic, when Rubinav were celebrating Karwa chauth by touching her husbands feet.

This convo was so disturbing .

men like Aly and Rahul find it cute and romantic then why don’t they change their surnames ???? Why only girls have to show this cute gesture ? And they were bitching about those girls who decide to keep their OWN identity I mean surname

Losers . So if tmr divorce happens , will Disha again change her surname on her passport ?

It's their "choice". Don't you know?

Women changing their names after marriage is their "choice".

Men not changing their names after marriage is also their "choice".

Nothing patriarchal about this at all.

Just to clear out some things with u...... Is Celebrating Karwa chauth fir hubby’s long life and touching his feet is regressive for you ???

Come out of your fangirling for once.

Yes karwa chauth is regressive and so is touching your husband's feet.

Happy?

If a woman doesn't want to change her surname after marriage it's wrong forcing her to do so but if she want to change her username it's her choice and I don't find anything wrong here..

If a woman doesn't take her husband's surname... And gives his husband's surname to the kid will that be patriarchy? And if she gives the kid only her surname will it be considered pseudo feminist? As the kid belongs to both.

If they give both the surname to their kid.... Will thier grand kid will have 4 surnames? Then 8? How will this thing even work?

We should get rid of last names altogether but wait that can't work either. In that case we should let 2 people decide what they want to do... Oh yes that's what rahul and disha did.

It’s nothing wrong here. No one is forcing anyone. Some girls prefer that.. they find it romantic.. if the girl doesn’t have any problem with that why should we worry. Not everything is about misogyny

who told you that? Because I have not seen a single Muslim girl taking her husband’s last name. In Islam girls don’t take their husband’s last name.
